Leadership and Support

Chris Wilkins (cwilkins@dvt.co.za) is a co-founder, Board Director, and CEO. He is an independent, conceptual thinker and a great believer in the power of energy and the human spirit. Chris has spent over twelve years at the helm of DVT. Chris relaxes when travelling and taking part in different sports.

Jacques Fouche (jfouche@dvt.co.za) is a Board Director and MD of DVT Cape. He has specialised skills in implementing strategic systems, technology solutions, and specific programmes into local and international financial institutions. Jacques relaxes over a bottle of great South African wine and good company.

Graham Fowler (gfowler@dvt.co.za) is our Financial Director (Board). He graduated in 1990 and completed articles with G.J. Bazley & Co. Graham was previously financial director at software futures, and helped grow the company to be one of the largest software specialists in South Africa.

Jaco Van Der Merwe (jvdmerwe@dvt.co.za) is a Board Director, MD of DVT Gauteng, and is also our official Doctor of software! He holds a Ph.D in Computer Science, focusing on object orientation and information security. He has presented and published papers at local and international seminars. Jaco is a co-founder of DVT Gauteng.

Craig Neill (cneill@dvt.co.za) is Chief Technology Officer at DVT. Craig understands both the concept and the detail of the technical capability offered by DVT. He offers no-nonsense advice on our specific technologies and solutions, and provides technical advice to internal DVT teams and clients alike. Craig relaxes by taking long motorcycle rides through Africa and playing squash.

Futhi Luthango (fluthango@dvt.co.za) is an Account Manager in Cape Town. His grounding in finance, both outside and inside DVT, makes him understand what we have to do to succeed as a business. His affable and personable manner make him a great ambassador for DVT. Futhi is always relaxed, but enjoys golf and good company.

Jenny Bellairs (jbellairs@dvt.co.za) is a regional Director of DVT Cape. She has over 20 years retail experience within the entire systems development lifecycle. Jenny introduces a thoughtful balance and personal approach within our dynamic and restless company. Jenny relaxes when reading a good book, cooking and eating gourmet food with good friends and travelling.

Izak Burger (iburger@dvt.co.za) is an Account Manager in Cape Town and at heart remains a closet business analyst. He is passionate about solutions that satisfy distinctive business needs, by whatever means necessary. He has to balance client service and employee satisfaction. Izak is at his most relaxed during an extreme triathlon event.

Kevin Naicker (knaicker@dvt.co.za )is a senior manager at DVT Gauteng, and is one of our Masters! He holds a Master's degree in Educational Software Development and has over 14 years of software development experience. Kevin is passionate about everything, and he inspires us all. Kevin relaxes with photography, travel, and sport, and likes to meet as many people as possible.

Jake De Villiers (jdevilliers@dvt.co.za) is a senior manager at DVT Gauteng. Jake is a serious delivery manager, and his 20 years of experiences have been focused on teams delivering software. Jake has major knowledge of the wholesale, retail, banking, petroleum and ticketing industries. Jake is practical and hands-on. Jake balances family and career with adrenaline sports.

Chris Visser (cvisser@dvt.co.za) is a senior manager at DVT Gauteng. He started out as a market risk analyst in the investment banking industry. He loves to see people and technology unlocking business value. His business and project experience spans treasury, banking, insurance and pharmaceuticals. Chris loves a good, thought-provoking read.

Laura Wier (lwier@dvt.co.za)  is a senior manager at DVT Cape. She is also something of a closet business analyst, and her experience spans software implementations, system migrations, process reengineering and business change initiatives. Laura loves aligning individuals to their professional aspirations. She relaxes with her family at home.

Johan Pieters (jpieters@dvt.co.za) is a senior manager at DVT Cape. He is at heart an IT consultant specialising in software delivery, account management and business analysis.  He is a true generalist. We love him because he brings structure to unstructured environments in a genteel and sophisticated manner. Johan is a thoughtful and sincere person. Johan relaxes by reading a good book or entertaining his children

Mario Matthee (mmatthee@dvt.co.za) is a senior manager at DVT Cape. Mario has a diverse portfolio which suits his dynamic, ambitious and commercially astute personality. His passion for software testing, test automation, and the potential of graduates has underpinned his great success at DVT. Mario has substituted his motorbike for some pedals, and can be found tucking into a hearty breakfast after a ride.

Lynn Daniels (ldaniels@dvt.co.za) is a recruitment manager at DVT Gauteng. She is an expert at those fiddly end-to-end processes that span multi discipline recruitment tasks, and high profile recruitment campaigns. Lynn and her team provides a critical support function for DVT Gauteng. Lynn relaxes best when on holiday spending time with her family.

Armien Jardine (ajardine@dvt.co.za) is a senior manager at DVT Cape. He is a systemic and thoughtful professional, and has tons of experience across various industries. The last 12 years were spent making software better, or to put it another way, he is an expert when it comes to software quality assurance. Armien and Mario Matthee started the SQA competency at DVT. Armien relaxes with his family or by exercising his passion for soccer.

Yvonne Smith (ysmith@dvt.co.za) is  senior business manager in Gauteng. During the 15 years she has spent in IT, 10 of those she spent testing software! Like many of us, Yvonne has worked across a variety of industries. She likes solving problems and committing to quality. Yvonne relaxes with a good book.

Ronnie Cloete (rcloete@dvt.co.za) is a senior manager at DVT Gauteng. His steadfast approach and dry humour compliments his experience gained initially as a software developer, later as a certified PMP, and currently in his role looking after clients, projects, and staff at DVT. Ronnie relaxes by shooting birdies on the golf course.
